Veteran's Day 2008

Drew and dad attended the 10th Annual Flower Mound Veteran's Day celebration. The event took place at Flower Mound High School's stadium. Drew's Cub Scout troop was honored with carrying the Marines flag during The Review. There were free hot dogs, cake, popcorn and lemonade. We had a nice time and it was great to talk with Drew about Veterans and what freedom we have because of them. It was also nice to talk with Drew about the meaning of the uniform and compare theirs to his. There are more pictures here.

Halloween 2008

We had a great time trick or treating. The MnM family and the ghostly ghoul. Uncle Ray and Aunt Bobbie were in town to celebrate. We started at our church's Trunk or Treat and wrapped it up at home with a couple of streets worth of loot. Quite a haul...chocolate was in this year! More pictures here.Posted by Picasa

Merry Christmas!

Well the Korber house, full on any other day, was busting at the seams for Christmas this year. I'm not just talking about all the family...you should have seen what Santa left under the tree! We had presents from here to there and everywhere. Santa was very considerate of our new carpet and left only cookie crumbs and presents. He was also considerate to tiptoe around all the family and pets sleeping between the chimney and the tree. Wes' first Christmas was full of toys and clothes, but more importantly wrapping paper, boxes and bows! We had a great visit from Kris's mom and their cousin Gay as well as Brad's mom. Here are some pictures from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We hope you and your family had a Merry Christmas and send you best wishes for a Happy New Year! Christmas Picture Album

Halloween '07

Well we had a great evening out with the pirates and vampires and bunnies and gypsies. Drew wore his baseball uniform and Megan the famous Tigger suit. Wes was a pumpkin and took a great nap while on our second hour of treating. We started at the church for Trunk-or-Treat. It was a lighter turnout from last year, but we attribute that to them actually having it on Halloween night this year. Previous years it was a day or two ahead and the participation and turnout was about double. We then came back to the neighborhood to hit the streets for some treats and meeting with friends. They got quite a haul. The pictures tell the tale. A lot more chocolate than I have seen in the past. Not good for the parents I must say. Enjoy all the pics by clicking here!
